Community Halls

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council provides 16 community halls for use by the community. Volunteer management committees manage these facilities on Council's behalf. Hall bookings are made through these management committees.

Commercial retail activities are not permitted. Alcohol is not permitted unless there is written permission from the management committee. All functions/bookings must adhere to the rules and conditions of hire. A copy of these rules can be downloaded below.

Other non-Council owned facilties such as scout halls, school halls and church halls are available for hire and are subject to direct negotiation with the organisation responsible for the facility.

Community Facilities Coordinator

This person is responsible for the planning, development, operation and evaluation of Council's 16 community halls. They act as a resource person for community based hall management committees. They are available Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 3.00 pm on 6581 8111 or email.
