Community Halls
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council operates 15 community halls for use by the community. Community based management committees, on behalf of Council, manage these facilities. Hall bookings are made through these management committees.
Commercial retail activities are not permitted. Alcohol is not permitted unless there is written permission from the management committee. All functions/bookings must adhere to the rules and conditions of hire. A copy of these rules can be downloaded below.
Other non-Council owned facilties such as scout halls, school halls and church halls are available for hire and are subject to direct negotiation with the organisation responsible for the facility. For a list of non-Council owned community halls please download the list provided below.
Community Facilities Coordinator
This person is responsible for the planning, development, operation and evaluation of Council's 15 community halls. They act as a resource person for community based hall management committees. They are available Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm on 65818042, fax 65818033 or email.
