Customer Care Program
Delivering quality customer service is an important component of ensuring long-term business survival. There is general
recognition that a high level of quality service is one of the main long-term sustainable competitive advantages that a small business can have.
There are significant opportunities for improvement in service excellence across the Port Macquarie-Hastings local government area.
In response to this, the business community in association with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council's Economic Development Section, have been developing a Customer Care Program (CCP).
The Customer Care Program is a service certification program where businesses that successfully meet the standards of accreditation will be authorised to display the Customer Care decal and other associated promotional material.
There are three ways in which a business can achieve CCP accreditation and these are described in the "Assessment Criteria" of the Customer Care information booklet. Accredited businesses will also have the opportunity to participate and be included in promotional activities conducted as part of the program. See who our Customer Care businesses are.
