Christmas Carols at Lake Cathie

The Young Guns Youth Band led by Ben Simons, a unit of Port Macquarie Hastings Municipal Band, heads up the musical presentation of Christmas Carols on the foreshore of Lake Cathie on Saturday 17th December from 6pm.
This is a great family time with Lake Cathie LIONS providing a sausage sizzle, along with food stalls to provide a great picnic setting. The Youth Band features its own talented vocalist who attracts rave reviews with each of her performances.
The Youth Band has performed previously at Lake Cathie Carols and is back by popular request. This is a good place and time for families to get ready for Christmas!
The Young Guns Youth Band was launched by PMHM Band in February 2008, with Frank Rugers as Musical Director. The unit caters for player from 12 to 17 yrs of age and has grown in numbers and musical expertise. It encourages transition students in Year 7 to continue to enjoy their musical development.
