The Town Green is a great place to relax and enjoy the evening air. This is where holiday makers along with locals can hear the cool sounds of the Summer Holiday Ensemble.
Weather permitting, their first appearance will be Thursday 5th January from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
At that same time each week in January, these musicians from Port Macquarie Hastings Municipal Town Band will entertain with the fun of toe-tapping, easy listening music. Be sure to catch "sounds to remember".
It is all about giving entertainment for the pleasure of holiday visitors.
All events are weather permitting, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Notes:
The Town Green is Port Macquarie's premier area of open space, being situated on the Hastings River at the northern end of Horton Street in the CBD. The reserve commands panoramic views of the Hastings River providing a spectacular venue for civic functions, community and cultural events, as well as open public space for recreational use.

- Lady Nelson Wharf - named after the ship 'The Lady Nelson' in which Surveyor-General, John Oxley sailed in to the area to explore and take soundings in 1819.
- War Memorial
- Birpai Healing Garden, created to celebrate reconciliation and women's spirituality
- Life-size bronze sculpture of Australia's first Prime Minister and member for the Hastings-Macleay in 1898-1899, Sir Edmund Barton. The sculpture was commissioned by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council to celebrate the Centenary of Federation
