Wauchope Bonsai Club meeting

The bonsai group has demonstrations, workshops, beginners’ lessons and displays of trees. They hold an annual show. Come along and learn how to care for your bonsai or how to make one. The first Saturday every month except for December and January are the meeting days.

White Ribbon Coastal Walk

White Ribbon Day provides an opportunity for men to speak out against violence against women and the White Ribbon has become the symbol for the day. This is a free community event consisting of walking the Coastal Walk from Tacking Point SLC (Lighthouse Beach) to the Town Green.

Christmas under the Stars

The Westport Club's Christmas under the Stars event is open to all the community to attend. Enjoy a night of live Christmas entertainment with traditional carol singing and a spectacular fireworks display. Naturally Santa will drop in to say hi to all the kids.

Hastings Cancer Trust Gala Dinner Dance

The Hastings Cancer Trust's annual Gala Dinner Dance is the charity's major fund raising event of the year. To date, the Hastings Cancer Trust has raised around $500,000 for cancer services. All money raised stays in our local area.
