The Heritage Festival 2013

This is the 14th year that Port Macquarie Hastings Council have participated in the National Trust’s Heritage Festival to be held from Saturday, the 20th April to the 5th May 2013 at a wide range of venues in our Local Government Area. Many community and heritage groups will be working together to promote our unique heritage and hold events which support this year’s theme “Community Milestones”.

2014 Ironman Australia

The 2014 Ironman Australia will be held at Port Macquarie on Sunday 4th May, on one of the most stunning Ironman courses in the world! Lining up to take on a 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42.2km run will be over 1600 athletes competing to achieve their personal goals in this gruelling event.

A Red Shield Annual Fundraising Concert

Port Macquarie Hastings Municipal Senior Concert Band joins The Salvation Army Port Macquarie Brass Band in a Red Shield annual appeal. This Appeal is for the Salvation Army's work with disadvantaged families in various communities. This is a great opportunity to hear the artistry of a brass band and a concert band presenting their separate numbers to entertain the audience. They will also play two joint numbers. A featured artist is Lydia Wills as solo pianist.
