Cultivating Local Business
Business Industry Growth Program (BiG), formerly, the Key Business Development Program provides intensive assistance to business owners:
- That have a desire to grow their operation in a strategic methodical manner;
- That are prepared to commit to the program (12 month duration);
- That plan to or already export their product/service outside the PMHC area.
The 12-month (minimum) program includes individual business health checks, work plans customised to the needs of each individual business, monthly workshops networking and collaboration with fellow participants. This includes ongoing support from our Economic Development team and the program consultants, Economic Gardeners Pty Ltd.
As with the 2007, 2008 and 2009 programs, businesses are expected to show considerable growth as a result of their participation, implement more efficient, cost-reducing operating practices and develop strategic strategies for growth.
