Historically, Council has advertised for casual lifeguards around November each year. Available work incorporated the Christmas school holidays and other school holidays throughout the year.

A change in procedure means that we will not be advertising for casual lifeguards, but will draw on our current pool of casuals, together with any additional persons who make application and satisfies our requirements.

Those who are not existing casuals and wish to be considered for work within Port Macquarie Hastings Council Lifeguard Service, should forward a resume and a covering letter outlining their experience, skills and qualifications. Council will continue to advertise annually for Temporary (full time) Seasonal Lifeguards to work between September and April each year.
