Council Meeting Webcasts - Suspended as at 25 July 2012
PLEASE NOTE:
At the Ordinary Council Meeting held in July, Council resolved to suspend the webcasting of Council meetings as at 25 July 2012.
Council subsequently called for a report to be presented at the October 2012 Ordinary Council Meeting to address the costs, previous audience numbers and the risks associated with webcasting for review by the new Mayor and Councillors. The decision to continue with the webcasting service will be determined by the new Council.
Council Meetings are generally held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5.30pm. All meetings are generally held at Council's Port Macquarie Office unless advertised otherwise.

Webcast
Webcasting Council meetings allows you to view real-time proceedings from a PC without the need to attend the meeting. The benefits of this include:
- provides our community with greater access to live Council meetings;
- eliminates geographic and other barriers that can prevent members of the public from attending Council meetings.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council accepts no liability for any defamatory remarks that are made during the course of the meeting. The quality of the webcast will depend on your PCs memory and internet connection bandwidth.
