Airport Operations Co-ordinator

Port Macquarie Airport is currently seeking an experienced Airport Operations Co-ordinator to promote a safe operating environment for aircraft and other users at the airport; and to ensure that all legislative and regulatory requirements associated with the operation of the airport are met.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and technically focussed individual to join the airport team at a time when Port Macquarie Airport is experiencing rapid growth in airline operations and passenger numbers (approaching 200,000 passengers per annum).  With this growth comes the need to strengthen our operational team.

The Airport Operations Co-ordinator will be responsible for developing and applying technical skills and regulatory procedures for the following key functions in accordance with the Airport Operations Manual and Australian Government aviation regulations (incl. CASA, Air Services Australia and the Office of Transport Security (OTS)):

• Co-ordination of aerodrome operations and supervision of the Airport Operations team
• Development and implementation of airport operating manuals, programs, plans, and standard operating procedures
• Aerodrome serviceability inspections, reporting functions, Works Safety Officer functions

As such we are looking for someone with significant experience and knowledge of aerodrome operations and the associated legislative and regulatory requirements. 

The salary range for this role is between $58,000 - $65,000 per annum, plus 9% superannuation, negotiable dependant upon skills and experience.
