Council occasionally has temporary project work available for skilled professional people.
Expressions of interest are being accepted from suitably qualified, experienced individuals in a range of professions, as follows:
- Town Planning
- Building Surveying
- Civil Engineering
- Engineering Design
- IT and Geographic Information Systems
- Laboratory Chemical / Biological Analysis
- Project Management
- Accounting
- Business Analysis
- Property Development
- Marketing
- Community Development
- Professional Group Facilitation
Professional project work is ideally suited to people who feel they have something to offer the community in terms of skills and experience, but do not wish to undertake permanent employment.
Recent experience in the discipline is essential, and local government experience will be highly regarded.
It is anticipated that a range of work options may be available, with projects varying in scope and duration. Council is willing to negotiate remuneration and work arrangements should there be an opportunity suiting your skill set and experience.
Expressions of interest are sought from individuals only, not consultancy companies.
