It's a barrel of laughs at the GlasshouseCarl Barron

If laughter is the best medicine then the Glasshouse is serving up one of the biggest doses in town with well-known comedian Carl Barron announcing a show at the Glasshouse on Sunday, 21 November. Tickets are now on sale.

A-List Entertainment are the company behind the big-name comedians who have graced the Glasshouse stage. The comedians who have enjoyed performing to a sold-out house include Kitty Flanagan, Akmal, The Umbilical Brothers and American stand-up comedian Arj Barker.

"Sold-out shows are good for business but it's also great to see the comedians drawing a diverse new crowd to the Glasshouse," said Venue Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Ms Bec Washington. "The Glasshouse is bringing a range of quality entertainment choices to our community that everyone can enjoy. As a premier venue with strong ticket sales, the Glasshouse is gaining a reputation as one of the 'must do' venues on the touring circuit."

Another comedy act soon to hit the Glasshouse stage is Tripod, a unique musical comedy act specialising in improvisation, parody and satire. Tripod will perform on Friday 6 November - tickets are selling strongly and limited seats remain.

It's not just all about the laughs, a diverse range of musical acts have also been selling well. The Petula Clark concert sold out and Sarah Blasko performed last night. November and December musical offerings include a recital by David Helfgott, the 'vast, rumbling, steam-powered, black-clad behemoth' The Spooky Men's Chorale, and Australia's leading acappella group, The Song Company performing A Christmas Romance.
