Australia Day wet weather update

Due to sustained wet weather conditions in Port Macquarie, the official Australia Day proceedings and citizenship ceremony scheduled to commence at 3pm, Westport Park have been moved to the Glasshouse. 

Market stalls, activities and events that were planned to take place throughout the day, including Port Macquarie's Got Talent have been cancelled.

In the event of continued wet weather, Australia Day proceedings scheduled for Bain Park, Wauchope, commencing at 8.30am will be moved to Wauchope Rotary Youth Hall, adjacent to the park. 

Residents are reminded that the Wauchope Australia Day proceedings will be boosted with the presence of an additional Australia Day ambassador, Icehouse front man Iva Davies as well as Paula Duncan, AM. 

A decision to continue planned events at Bruce Porter Reserve, Laurieton will not be made until early tomorrow morning.
