Journey of Flavour Car Trail and Markets - registrations now open

Rally your friends, family or work colleagues and join us for the annual Journey of Flavour Car Trail on Sunday, 26 February, 10am-3pm.
Registrations are now open for the fun-filled event which will see competitors travel to participating Journey of Flavour eateries and producers, completing questions and activities, and collecting passport stamps before reaching the finish line at Town Green.
With over $3000 worth of prizes available to entrants, make sure to register your family in the Car Trail and explore the wonderful Hastings in search of fresh produce, restaurants and cafes all available, right on our doorstep.
Industry Development Coordinator, Wendy Beverley said the car trail will commence from Settlement City Shopping Centre and see entrants weave their way through the region including Laurieton and Wauchope, armed with a competitors kit full of special vouchers to use on the journey.
"The Car Trail Rally is a great way of promoting the Journey of Flavour program and having some family fun," Ms Beverley said.
Those interested are encouraged to register their details early with discounted pricing available in both the family and corporate category. Pre-register your family for the car trail at just $20 per car, Corporate entry is $50 per car.
Scott Russell, who entered his business Men at Work in last year's corporate category recommended people register for the event and discover cafes and restaurants of the Hastings.
"We met some lovely people at the venues. We had never been to Roses Vineyard before, and it was spectacular," Mr Russell said.
Winners of the car trail will be announced on the day at the Town Green, where market stalls, activities and music will continue to entertain the whole family.
