Centenarian Tree Dedication Ceremonies

A centenarian tree dedication is arranged upon receipt of a request from families or via the local MP's office. The designated tree is complemented by a plaque with the upcoming centenarian's name and birth date and placed at the base of the tree.
Various locations are available for the dedication of centenarian trees, including:
- Westport Park, Port Macquarie,
- Settlement Point Reserve, Port Macquarie,
- Hennessey Park, Port Macquarie,
- Stuart Park, Port Macquarie,
- Settlement Point Reserve, Port Macquarie,
- Apex Park, Laurieton and
- Bain Park, Wauchope.
The trees are dedicated at a ceremony with the Mayor/Administrator, friends and family in attendance.
Requests for centenarian tree dedications should be directed in the first instance through the State or Federal Members office as they will ensure all congratulatory messages are prepared and sent to the centenarian. Requests should be placed at least 8 weeks prior to the centenarian's birthday.
