Town Centre Masterplan working party

A working party to develop proposals to invigorate the community space within the Hay Street Forecourt has been established. 

Council staff and property owners of surrounding businesses will form part of the working party of the Town Centre Masterplan Committee.

Director Infrastructure Services Jeffery Sharp said Council was committed to developing a long-term masterplan for the Port Macquarie CBD and involvement of local businesses in the planning process was vital.

"Strengthening partnerships with local businesses will enhance community spaces like the Hay Street Forecourt and assists Council in providing social infrastructure to improve the CBD," Mr Sharp said.
