Port Macquarie Library re-open

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council wishes to inform residents that Port Macquarie library has re-opened its doors for business after temporarily closing earlier this week.

Extensive damage to the roof and ceiling of the library was caused in a vandalism attack over the weekend. The library was forced to close while affected areas were cleaned and secured. Other property within the library, including computers were also damaged.

Areas of the library will remain sectioned off for safety precautions while ongoing repair works continue over the coming weeks.

NSW Police are continuing with their investigations.
