Glasshouse three year anniversary report 2009 - 2012
In the first three years of operation more than 870,000 people have visited the Glasshouse and 1,000 events have seen the space used for performances, conferences, exhibitions product launches and meetings.
These statistics, along with a financial overview form part of the Glasshouse 3rd Anniversary Report. The report was tabled to Council in July 2012 and highlights the importance of the facility as both a community and commercial space.
The report includes an overview of all operational aspects of the Glasshouse including the gallery, visitor information, retail and education programs. It also provides a financial overview to help the community understand the operational costs of the facility and put that in context of the overall Council budget.
The Anniversary Report includes;
- A breakdown of the Glasshouse budget, and the budget in context of Council's overall budget;
- An overview of the education program which has enabled over 16,800 students to visit the facility since 2009 and participate in more than 200 programs;
- Breakdown of the 71 exhibitions held at the Regional Gallery including 25 which featured local artists;
- A summary of all event hirers, public programs and exhibitions.
