Library Databases and Electronic Resources
Library users have free access to the following free NSW.net databases available at all branches:
- Biography Resource Center: from brief summaries to lengthy biographies - if they're well known they're in here - pictures too.
- Australian & New Zealand Reference Center: hundreds of full-text Australian and New Zealand journals and newspapers including the Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph, Time magazine and more.
- Master File Premier: a comprehensive collection of full-text journal, magazine and newspaper articles from around the world.
- Consumer Health Complete: an online collection of articles from a variety of sources concerning all aspects of health.
- Science Reference Center: a database with biographies and articles relating to the sciences.
- NoveList: a Readers Advisory database, created by librarians, to help in finding that elusive title or next good read.
- Literary Reference Center: a literary database with articles on world authors and their works.
- Standards Australia: a comprehensive online collection of Australian standards. (In-Library access only)
The Library also has a selection of hard-copy Australian Bureau of Statistics publications and can provide assistance in accessing the ABS online statistics, including the latest Census information.
