Hastings Library is committed to providing access to its resources for as many residents of the Hastings as possible. Some of our residents live alone and cannot leave their homes through illness or immobility.

For this reason, the Port Macquarie Lions' Club and Hastings Library provide home deliveries of library items within the Port Macquarie precinct. Our branch libraries provide a selection service for volunteers to deliver.

Strict criteria are observed when determining eligibility for this service:

• The borrower must be unable to leave their home through incapacity or illness.
• The borrower must have no alternative means of accessing the collection, for example, relatives or friends who will collect their items.
