An Inter-Library Loan (ILL) service is available to obtain information or items for Library members from other libraries or information agencies from around Australia, and sometimes from overseas. If what you need is not found in our local collection then we can often obtain it via ILL. If we assess that the item you have requested would be suitable to add to our collection, we will endeavour to purchase it instead.

Requests are taken in-person at your local branch library.

ILL Charges

A non-refundable $5.50 service fee applies for all ILL.

Service Guidelines

• Core Service: ILL requests are normally sent daily, with supply of item taking on average 2-3 weeks. Copy requests are usually obtained within two weeks.
• New Items: recently released fiction or non-fiction is not available on ILL, please make a purchase request.
• Limit: only three item/photocopy requests per member will be processed at a time.
